Philip Haucke was born in Duesseldorf in 1978. After studies in Economics and Medicine, he enrolled at the Academy of Television & Film in Munich. Also active as a cameraman and director"s assistant, he has directed the shorts "Key Moment" (1999), "Black Baby" (2000), "Borneo" (2001), "Jemand musste K. verraten haben" (2002), and his graduation feature "Cold Void" ("Weisse Stille", 2004).
