Thomas Imbach was born in Lucerne, Switzerland in 1962. With his independent production company Bachim Film, Zurich, he has been directing and producing his own films since 1987. In his work, Imbach has consistently probed the boundaries between film and video, documentary and fiction, cinema tradition and new technologies.
