Tom Zenker was born in 1971 in Munich. After finishing an apprenticeship as a carpenter, he studied Sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich, followed by studies in Directing at the Ernst Busch School for Acting in Berlin. Since 1997, he has been studying at the German Academy of Film & Television (dffb) in Berlin. His films include: "Der letzte Bus ins Paradies" (1998), "Das taegliche Leben" (1999), "Hilflos" (2000), "Boomtown Berlin: Es leckt" (2001), and "Business As Usual" (2003).
