Harald Rumpf was born in Reichenbach/Pfalz in 1955. He trained as a journalist and photographer from 1975-1978 and was a co-founder of the Producers" Gallery in Munich in 1976, the homeless newspaper Biss in 1993, and has worked as a lecturer for Photography since 1981. His films include: "Liberty Square Munich" ("Muenchner Freiheit", 1998), "Gerhard Rossmann - der Durchblick ins Leere" (2001), and "Hip Hop - A Tale from the Hood" (2003).
