My Friend Joe
My Friend Joe is based on the prize-winning book of the same name by the Swedish writer Peter Pohl. The story centres on 13-year-old Chris who makes friends in the summer holidays with Jan who seems to have come from nowhere. Jan impresses Chris and his gang with daring bicycle tricks on his mountain bike.
Chris doesn′t realise that Jan is really a girl who is a trapeze artist in a travelling circus and must hide a terrible secret. Chris has to find out why she dresses up as a boy outside of the world of the circus and what the secret is she is harboring ...
