Hubert Poellmann Born in Kelheim in 1953, Hubert Poellmann shot a Super 8 short – "Die Fesseln der modernen Menschheit bestehen aus Kanzleipapier" (1981) - before making his feature directorial debut in 1984 with "Der Lokalpatriot". He followed this with "Der Eheberater" in 1986 and then spent the next few years making short films for schools and distribution organisations. In 1993, he directed "Die Kommilitonin" and was awarded a grant by the collection society VGF for office space at the Bayerisches Filmzentrum on the lot of the Bavaria Film Studios from 1996-1997. His latest film is "Buenos Aires – postlagernd".
