Régine Provvedi was born in France and moved to Berlin to study Art Direction and Fine Arts at the HDK Art Academy. She has worked as a production manager on various international film projects and directed a number of short films, including: "Leben aus 2ter Hand" (1984), "Vehlefanz" (1992), "Requin" (1993), "Die Arche/Lurch" (1999), Little Spoon (2005).
