Kyne Uhlig, born in Cologne in 1970. A geography graduate, she took her doctorate in 2001. She began making video documentaries in 1990 and in 1995 started making ani mation films using objects for WDR television"s "Die Sendung mit der Maus", among other programmes. She has taught at animation film workshops since 2004.
