The End of the Internet

Paul Baran, the mastermind of the internet, warned of the negative consequences of the once revolutionary technology: dominated by political and economic interests, it could become an inhumane instrument of power. Today a handful of tech giants hold the reins – but there are signs that alternative systems may be on their way.
