Jakob Schäuffelen was born in 1967 in Munich and studied at the Vienna Film Academy and the Hamburg Media School. Primarily active as a director for television, he has directed numerous episodes of the series "Ein Fall für Zwei", "Sk Kölsch" and many others as well as TV movies.
