Young mouse Edda, daughter of the fairground operator Erwin, dreams of becoming a racecar driver. But it's about more than just speed and fame: her father’s business is on the brink of collapse, and the upcoming 50th anniversary Grand Prix offers a unique chance to save both her dream and the family business. By a surprising twist of fate, Edda takes on the identity of her great idol, the racer Ed, and secretly enters the race disguised. With Ed's covert support and guidance, she must face fierce competition, dangerous obstacles, and a sneaky sabotage on the track. Only her lightning-fast reflexes prevent disaster for the other racers as well. And through it all, the dreamer becomes a celebrated hero.
