Shot during Taiwan's nationwide local elections between November 2022 and February 2023, the film captures everyday life in a society caught between democratic self-determination and external pressures. It takes an observational approach, following people from rural communities to urban centers, and paints a nuanced portrait of a country whose future remains uncertain.
