Clouds Are Made of Rain

Single mother Nadine doesn't have much time left—she is dying. At the hospital, there is nothing more they can do for her, so she returns to her apartment to pack her things and say her goodbyes. Alone with her fate, she reluctantly takes up a room in a hospice, even as she inwardly refuses to accept being there. She longs for Dexter, her five-year-old son, who now lives with her mother, Renate. When Dexter finally comes to visit, Nadine is overjoyed. But the boy is frightened by the bald woman who no longer looks like his mother and refuses to return. Resigned, Nadine lies down, ready to die. But it doesn't happen that easily. Reluctantly, she ventures into the common room and meets Marion, a spirited woman who refuses to let dying get the better of her.
