The documentary sheds light on the lived realities of LGBTIAQ individuals in Cameroon, where same-sex relationships are criminalized and socially stigmatized. Director Appolain Siewe returns to his home country for the filming, confronting his own past, experiences of familial rejection, and the deeply rooted homophobia within Cameroonian society. At the heart of the film are personal encounters with activists, conversations with experts, and the work of human rights lawyer Alice Nkom. Blending individual stories with social analysis, the film offers a nuanced portrait of courage and resistance.
