Still Waters

The Ahr Valley half a year after the catastrophic flooding. We have heard a lot about it but don’t have the slightest idea what everyday life entails for the people there. Hope and resignation lie side by side. With a powerful visual language and scenes that are partly touching and partly bizarre, "Stille Wasser" manages to find unforgettable images to represent the inconceivable.
