Heidi - Rescue of the Lynx

Heidi is spending her summer holidays with her grandfather, the Alm-Öhi, in the Swiss Alps - though she would much rather be with her friend Clara by the Baltic Sea. When she discovers an injured lynx cub near the cabin, she decides to secretly care for it. Together with Peter, she tries to return the animal to its family without her grandfather finding out. At the same time, a businessman plans to build a sawmill that could threaten the village’s surrounding nature. Heidi and Peter find themselves on an adventure in which they must not only rescue the young lynx, but also rally the community to protect their shared environment.

A loose reimagining of Johanna Spyri’s children’s classic "Heidi."
