The One Who Runs Away Is The Ghost

In fairy tales, it is the forest that is inhabited by fairies, spirits and mythical creatures. Here, it is an electronics market. The imagination of two sisters growing up here enchants the apparently mundane world of beeping, flashing machines in a Chinese skyscraper. The filmmaker takes a sentimental, poetic journey into (her own) childhood.
