Documentary film about Michael Scholly, who is freshly released from prison after serving 28 years for murder. Although he had three years to prepare for this moment, the world has changed so fundamentally since his conviction that Scholly's ideas and expectations have little in common with reality. The new beginning becomes a tremendous effort, a challenge that, as becomes soon obvious, can hardly be overcome.
