Born in Germany in 1993, the director studied film at the Escuela Nacional de Cine in Bogotá, Colombia. After returning to Germany, she was a script development intern and worked in set management and as a 2nd AD on a number of projects. From 2018 to 2024, she studied at the German Film and Television Academy Berlin (DFFB). Her short film "Spit" won a special mention at the Imagine This Women’s International Film Festival in New York. "Schwesterherz" ("The Good Sister") is her debut feature film.
