Janina Lutter was born in Passau, Germany in 1999. As a child, she developed a passion for the medium of film and has since then repeatedly realized small and large film projects as a writer and director. After graduating she moved to Hesse and is currently (February 2023) studying "Motion Pictures" in the ninth semester at the University of Applied Sciences Darmstadt. She has already presented her short films at various film festivals. Janina is interested in bringing young, queer and feminist perspectives to the forefront of her films and in giving the emotional worlds of young people a secure place in her stories.
