Johannes Scheidweiler
Johannes Scheidweiler was born in Radebeul in 1999. He gained his first stage experience between 2011 and 2017 at the Pegasus Children's and Youth Theater School. In 2017, he began studying at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin, performing in stage productions at the Berliner Volksbühne and the Schaubühne during his studies. In 2020, he played a notable role in the Berlin "Tatort" episode "Das perfekte Verbrechen", portraying a childlike member of a secret elite student society.
Before graduating in July 2021, Scheidweiler secured a permanent engagement at the Staatstheater Cottbus for the 2020/21 season. At the same time, he remained active in television and film, playing a Berlin hipster in the streaming comedy "Rumspringa" ("Rumspringa - An Amish in Berlin," 2021) and a student in the TV drama "Flügel aus Beton" (2022), which focused on bullying. From late 2024, he joined the Ludwigshafen "Tatort" as a new assistant trainee in the investigative team. On the big screen, he appeared in the ensemble cast of the offbeat provincial comedy "Another German Tank Story" (2024) as the son of a village mayor. Around the same time, he took on a key role in the youth and social drama "Mit der Faust in die Welt schlagen" ("Punching the World", 2025), playing the leader of a far-right youth group.
