Hayat - Leben

Hayat means "life." At the age of 20, Hayat is still hanging out on playgrounds in Neuperlach, a Munich suburb. She seems a bit lost, hasn’t really found her place in life yet. But gradually she begins to box her way out of the standstill and the feeling of insignificance. A first boxing competition doesn’t take place uncontrolled on the street as usual, but at a real tournament. Will she also be able to pass the entrance examination for secondary school? Mama would be most happy for her to marry the desired candidate. But is that also the right thing for Hayat?
