Mozart Recycled

A youth opera, initiated by the Argentinian-Swiss puppeteer Frida Leon, puts a group of "cartoneros" in the limelight. Facundo and Cristina, who work as urban recyclers and live in the slums of Buenos Aires, participate in the project. As puppeteers, they are appearing for the first time on the stage of a major opera house and, thanks to their success, are even invited to Switzerland. For the "cartoneros", who have never left their homeland before, the journey turns into a thrilling experience in which they grow beyond themselves.
