Xoftex
After a perilous escape from Syria, Nasser and his brother Yassin find themselves stuck in the Greek refugee camp Xoftex, waiting for a decision on their asylum application. To pass the time, they bicker, shoot parody videos about their situation, and dream of making it to Sweden. But as the days drag on, Nasser begins to feel increasingly trapped in this limbo. He starts working on a zombie film - only to realize that its storyline mirrors their own unsettling reality.
The film is inspired by the real experiences of refugees and the actual Softex camp. Developed through workshops held in refugee camps, it blends documentary, fantasy, and visual effects into a powerful hybrid.
