Louisa

Louisa is 23 when she has to face the fact that she can’t hear anymore. All her life she
has tried hard to be like everyone else: communication a constant fight of lip reading, ever fearing to fail. Louisa starts to study sign language and learns to find her own way. Against all seeming odds, she decides not to get a hearing implant – and finally decides to move out from her parents’ house. A portrait of the director’s sister.
