"Beryl Magoko" studied Mass Communication and TV/Video Production in Uganda, followed by post-graduate studies at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne. Sharpening her passion for cinema through documentary films, her debut film "The Cut" (2012) won several international awards. Her other films include "Wasser für Janet und Felicitas" ("Water for Janet and Felicitas" 2013), "In search…" (2018), and "Othermothers" (2019, co-direction).
