Sibel

25-year-old Sibel lives with her father and sister in a remote village on the Black Sea. She has been mute since she was a child, but she can communicate making use of a whistled language. Since she does not wear a headscarf and acts very independently, she is shunned and marginalized by the villagers. One day, while hunting a wolf, Sibel meets a wounded deserter of the Turkish army. Since he meets her unbiased, he sees her in a completely different light: as a strong and beautiful woman – for Sibel a completely new experience.
