Dogan Altuner was born in 1965 in Turkey and moved to Germany at age 17. He studied Film in Berlin and founded the first Turkish cinema and Turkish advertising agency in Germany, where he produced and directed numerous formats for Turkish target groups in Germany. He is active as a documentary film director on topics which investigate cultural barriers.
