The sole memento of their parents' lives that Andreas and his sister Vanessa still possess is a single solitary video cassette, nothing more. When the filmmaker finds it after nearly 20 years, he realises that he and his sister never spoke about their loss. Raised by German-Russian grandparents in a ghetto of German Russians, there was never space for such talk. Now Andreas wants to know what Vanessa feels and he wants to share his feelings with her. Filmmaking with the power to heal.
