Niklas Bruhn was born in Hamburg on October 24, 1991 and studied at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg between 2011 and 2015. During his studies he already took part in theatre productions, for example at the Deutsches Schauspielhaus Hamburg. Since 2016 he is a member of the ensemble at the Theater Osnabrück, where he featured in productions of Chekhov's "The Seagull" and Gogol's "The Government Inspector". Jakob Lass' tragicomic novel adaptation "So was von da" (2017) marks Bruhn's debut as a movie actor. In "So was von da" he features in the lead role, playing a Hamburg musicclub owner whose life gets out of hand during New Year's Eve.
