Nancy Camaldo studied scenic directing at the Hochschule für Fernsehen und Film München (HFF) and has realised numerous short films, music videos and image film productions since 2013. Her short film "Haut" celebrated its world premiere at the short film festival in Clermont-Ferrand, screened in the short film competition of the 40th Filmfestival Max Ophüls Preis Film and was shortlisted for the BAFTA Student Film Awards, among others. "Windstill" is her feature film debut.
