Christian Pasquariello was born in Bad Homburg on September 12 1971. From 1996 until 2001, he studied directing at the Ludwigsburg film academy. He went on to direct shorts and music videos, and wrote the script for the 2009 TV thriller "Kill Your Darling".

In 2015, he was one of the authors of the comic book series "Die Toten". The same year, he began work on his feature film debut "S.U.M.1". Produced by Christian Alvart, the claustrophobic science-fiction film was released in late 2017.

Since 2014, Christian Pasquariello also teaches film direction and script writing at the SAE Institute in Berlin.
