Reinaldo Pinto Almeida initially studied Philosophy in Lisbon and Paris and subsequently took courses at the Film University Babelsberg Konrad Wolf. Also active in improvisation theater and as a film editor, a selection of his films as a director includes: "The Promise" (2012), "Sushila by the Sea" (2014), "Erosion" (2015), "Das Apartment" (2017), "Landschaften in Zeiten des Verrats" ("Landscapes in times of Treason", 2018), and "The House behind the Post Office (2018).
