Ralf Walker, né Hechelmann and born in Günzburg, Germany in 1970, first began directing at the Hinterhofbühne theatre in Mannheim. After training as an actor in Mainz, Germany, he worked with the Savier Klaro Performance Group from 1994 to 1996. In 2000 he founded the software start-up Revento GmbH. From 2002 to 2011 he was manager and director of the Lindau Marionette Opera.
