Born in Parana, Argentina, in 1973, she studied photography and later film direction at the Universidad de Cine in Buenos Aires. Her debut feature film "Ana y los Otros" was completed in 2003. In addition to working as a director, she has also been lecturing film directing at the Buenos Aires film school Centro de Investigación Cinematográfica since 2004. In 2012 her documentary "Escuela normal" premiered in the Berlinale Forum.
