Documentary film about the career and everyday life of football coaches in Germany. Over the course of a year, the film team followed three coaches from well-known clubs: André Schubert from FC St. Pauli, Stephan Schmidt from SC Paderborn and Frank Schmidt from 1. FC Heidenheim. In addition to everyday sporting life with the team, the film also addresses the stress and pressure on the men, not least by fans and the media, who question their every decision. It also documents the training and career of a coach, which begins as a simple football instructor and ideally ends with the position of national coach.
