Born in 1984 in Aachen in Germany, she grew up in the Nordeifel region. She studied television journalism in Berlin and has worked as a writer and assistant director for various production companies. "Die mit dem Bauch tanzen", her first full-length documentary, is set in her Eifel homeland.
