Study No. 12
"Study No. 12" was was almost entirely produced by Oskar Fischinger′s brother Hans while Oskar Fischinger was working on "Study No. 11". The film shows thin streamlined shapes synchronised to the "Torchlight Dance of the Brides of Kashmir" from Anton Rubinstein′s opera "Feramors". Hans Fischinger used the grayscale of the film to distinguish between front and background movements on the open space of the screen.
