Biography

Vincent Gerhard Heinrich Wiemer, born on January 6, 2004 in Bonn, Germany, made his first stage appearance at the age of four: he played the little dragon Kokosnuss in a production of the play "Ritter Rost". He gained further experience at the Bonn Carnival in 2013 and 2014, where he impersonated Herbert Knebel and Reiner Calmund in solo appearances.

Wiemer joined the ensemble of the Junges Theater Bonn in 2016. There he made his debut in the leading role of Rico in "Rico, Oskar und die Tieferschatten", which he played until 2019. In March 2017, he performed alongside Jan Amman in "The Melody of Broadway", a gala concert celebrating the musical author Wolfgang Adenberg's 50th birthday. The following year, Wiemer together with Tom Lehel and the Lochis stood in for the foundation "Mobbing stoppen! Kinder stärken!" (literally Stop mobbing! Empower kids!) for the music video for the song "Du doof?". Wiemer also contributed to the campaign's educational materials. Wiemer has been at the Junges Theater Bonn in leading and supporting roles in "The Neverending Story" (2017-2023), "TKKG - Freundschaft in Gefahr" (2018-2019), "Krabat" (2019), and "Das Letzte Aufgebot" (2019-2023).

In summer 2020, Wiemer auditioned for David Wnendt's feature film "Sonne und Beton" ("Sun and Concrete"), adapted from the novel of the same name by Felix Lobrecht. He ended up landing a leading role as a hot-headed member of the Berlin-based clique at the center of the film. The film had its world premiere in competition at the 2023 Berlinale and was in theatrical release shortly thereafter.
