Biography
Uta Arning studied Business in Germany and Japan and Film Directing at New York University Tisch School of the Arts/Tisch Asia Singapore. Her short films screened at numerous international film festivals. "The Perfect Woman", her second year project, received support from the German Embassy in Singapore and was invited to screen at the Directors' Guild of America as a Wasserman Award Finalist. During her studies, she had the opportunity to work with such famous directors as Oliver Stone, Roger Spottiswoode, Shekhar Kapur, and Todd Solondz.
In 2010 she founded her own production company SNOWCHILD Filmproduction. "Snowchild" is her first feature film.
