Biography
Born in Tashkent, Uzbekistan in 1981. She studied filmmaking at the Tashkent State Institute of Arts before working at the Fabrica research centre in Treviso, Italy, where she directed "Aral, Fishing in an Invisible Sea" (2004)". Following a series of video installations, "Chilla" is her first feature-length film.
