Riva Krymalowski was born in Zurich (Switzerland) in 2008 and grew up in Berlin. In 2018 she took part in a casting for the feature film "Als Hitler das rosa Kaninchen stahl" and was cast by director Caroline Link in the leading role. The film adaptation of the novel about a Jewish girl who had to flee Germany with her family in 1933 was released in German cinemas at Christmas 2019.
