Biography

Peter Macdonald has been active in the film industry for over 30 years. Born in London, he has worked as director of photography, executive producer and second unit director on numerous box-office successes. His filmography speaks for itself. "The Neverending Story III" is the third major production where Macdonald has been serving as director. He made his directorial debut with box-office hit "Rambo III" with Sylvester Stallone and followed this with the hit "Mo" Money". He was director of photography on: "Cabaret" (1972), "Murder on the Orient Express" (1974), "The Return of the Pink Panther" (1975), "A Bridge Too Far" (1977), "Superman" (1978), "Gorky Park" (1983), "Yentl" (1983), "Legend" (1985).
