Biography

Oliver Konietzny was born in Bad Homburg on November 24, 1987. He studied acting at the Otto-Falckenberg-Schule in Munich, and performed in plays at the Münchner Kammerspiele, the Theater Erlangen, the Theaterhaus Jena and the Naxos Halle in Frankfurt. In 2011, he made his screen debut in the role of a young delinquent in "Schuld sind immer die anderen" ("Shifting the Blame"). He next played a teenage gang member in the thriller "Wir waren Könige" ("The Kings Surrender", 2014), and also guest-starred in episodes of the TV series "Der Staatsanwalt" and "SOKO Leipzig".

Konietzny got his first leading role in the 2014 feature "Dessau Dancers", playing a young breakdance enthusiast in 1980s East-Germany. The same year, he had a recurring role as the antagonist in the TV series "Armans Geheimnis".
