Biography
Oleksandra Krasavtseva was born in Kyiv, Ukraine in October 1995. She started painting at the age of 6 and graduated from a children art school in 2010. After graduating from the mathematics lyceum in Kyiv in 2013 she began to study architecture at the Academy of Arts and Architecture in Kyiv. Parallel to her studies Krasavtseva started to write poetry and publish her poems online. In addition, she worked as an art teacher at school. In summer 2017 she completed her studies with a bachelor degree in architecture and began working as a freelance illustrator, graphic designer and manager in an art gallery. After taking design courses in Kyiv, Krasavtseva started to study visual communication at the Kunsthochschule Kassel in 2018. In the fall of 2019 she and her sister got their first exhibition for their poetry work in Kyiv. From November 2019 until January 2020 Krasavtseva worked on her first short animation film "Zebra", that is based on one of her poems.
