Moran Rosenblatt was born in Tel Aviv, Israel, on 14 September 1985. Her paternal grandparents immigrated to Israel from Russia and Poland and her mother's family came from Iran. After completing her military service, she studied acting and screenwriting. Rosenblatt made her screen debut in 2011 in the Israeli film "Lipstikka", in the role of an Israeli Arab. The film was screened in the Berlinale Competition, at the Jerusalem Film Festival Rosenblatt won the Actress Award for her performance, at the Israeli Film Award Ophir she was nominated for Best Supporting Actress.
Her leading role in the love and social drama "Hatuna MeNiyar" ("Wedding Doll", 2015) won her the Ophir Award. She received another nomination for her supporting role in the coming out drama "Para Aduma" ("Red Cow", 2018), set in the days before the assassination of Jitzchak Rabin. The Austrian director Harald Sicheritz cast Moran Rosenblatt in 2016 for a leading role in the Austrian-Israeli production "Baumschlager". In the satire she played the Palestinian lover of an Austrian blue helmet soldier on the Golan, who falls victim to the whims of political interests.
On Israeli television, Rosenblatt was part of the ensemble of the comedy series "Chateau Ein Karem" (2017-2018) and the thriller series "Kfulim" ("False Flag", 2018-2019). A great international success was the Netflix thriller series "Fauda", in which Rosenblatt played the niece of the main character Mickey Moreno from 2018 to 2020.
Director Shirel Peleg cast Moran Rosenblatt in 2019 in a leading role in the romantic comedy "Kiss Me Kosher" ("Kiss Me Before It Blows Up"): as a Jewish Israeli woman who falls in love with a German woman, which her own grandmother is not very happy about. The film was released in German cinemas in autumn 2020.
