Mor Kaplansky studied arts and film at university, while working as a line producer and production supervisor. After 8 years as a producer, Mor decided to return to her writing and directing passions and studied for an MFA in film at the University of Tel Aviv. While studying, Mor directed a short film, "Vlog" (2010), which screened at many international film festivals including the BFI London Film Festival, Tampere Film Festival and São Paulo Short Film Festival. Following this, Mor began developing her first full-length documentary, "Café Nagler".
