Biography
Born in 1964 in Nürtingen, Germany, she studied social anthropology, theatre, film and television in Cologne and Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan where she spent a year undertaking field research in three villages. She lives in Cologne and works as a journalist, freelance filmmaker and trainer in participatory video. "Flowers of Freedom" is her first feature-length documentary.
