Biography

Meciej Dejczer studied Polish Literature before taking a course in Film & Television Directing at the University of Katowice where he graduated in 1984. He served as assistant director for Krzysztof Kieslowski on "Without End". His films include "Junk Kids" (TV, 1986), "300 Miles To Heaven" (1989), and "Brute" (1997). Dejczer was awarded the Felix for Best Young European Film in 1989 and the Young Audience Award at Cannes in 1990 for "300 Hundred Miles To Heaven".
