Levy Rico Arcos was born in 2006 in Berlin and grew up there in the district of Neukölln. In the summer of 2020, he auditioned for the film "Sonne und Beton" ("Sun and Concrete"), based on Felix Lobrecht's novel of the same name. He was cast by director David Wnendt in the lead role of 15-year-old Lukas, who grows up in Berlin's troubled Gropiusstadt district. The film premiered in competition at the 2023 Berlinale. It was released in theaters shortly thereafter.
